Summer Projects
Film: Dirteater (Post Production)
Written and Directed by Dawn Jones Redstone Produced by We Have Our Ways
I can’t say much about the project now, except that it’s a supernatural family drama.
I play Luis, cousin to Alma who has an incredible gift, who is trying to figure out if our family is worth redemption. I got to spend time with some incredible performers. The crew was incredible and Dawn’s direction made it feel less like a set, and more like a family. I can’t wait for you all to see it!
Theatre: Crumbs/Migas (Staged Reading)
Written by Rebecca Touriño Collinsworth and Directed by Francisco Garcia
Produced by Theatre 33 and Willamette University
I played Iván, brother to Marielena. We are orphaned siblings returning to a fictional Latin American country 15 years after a U.S. backed coup.
The play is packed with heart. I loved the emotional arc of my role and working with the cast. I’ve worked with them individually on different projects so this also felt like getting together with family to put on a show, and tell an important story.
I create characters…
who observe deeply, hold more than they show, and act when it matters most.
I’m devoted to emotional truth, creating performances so grounded and authentic that audiences stop seeing a character and begin seeing a person.
